About the Role
Our Global Security Operations team currently has an opening for a Physical Security Specialist focused on protecting personnel, facilities, and company assets through the delivery of physical security operations, systems, and programs
This role will include:
Provide technical and administrative support for physical access control (PACS), video management (VMS), and intrusion detection (IDS) systems, including establishing and maintaining processes for alarm response, monitoring, and system maintenance.
Conduct routine alarm testing, response reviews, and system audits in accordance with established program requirements.
Review, develop, and enforce physical access policies and procedures to support secure and efficient operations.
Perform physical security surveys and facility threat assessments to evaluate compliance with company standards and prepare detailed reports with recommended corrective actions.
Support assessments to ensure compliance with applicable government and industry requirements, including documenting findings and remediation recommendations.
Provide physical security support for corporate projects and initiatives, including system deployments, upgrades, and operational enhancements.
Support broader security operations as needed, including incident response, contract security oversight, and investigative support
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors, integrators, and design teams to ensure physical security requirements are effectively incorporated into facility design and construction projects.
Deliver security services with a customer-focused approach, balancing effective security controls with a positive employee and visitor experience
We are looking for:
Two (2) years of relevant experience supporting physical security systems and operations
Associate’s degree or higher
Working knowledge and experience with integrated physical security systems, including access control (PACS), video management systems (VMS), intrusion detection/alarm systems (IDS), and related physical security technologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Willingness and ability to respond to after-hours alarm and security events as required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
Full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal)
Willingness to travel for up to two weeks at a time as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Five (5) years of relevant experience with physical security systems and practices
Bilingual - fluency in German, French, or Spanish
Experience supporting or managing physical security projects, including system deployments, upgrades, and coordination across multiple stakeholders
Experience supporting vendor and contractor engagement, including evaluating performance, ensuring adherence to scope, and maintaining service quality standards
Understanding of integrated physical security system architecture and the interaction between access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems
Experience supporting system health monitoring, alarm/event response workflows, and overall operational performance of physical security systems
Ability to assess security risks and contribute to decision-making related to system performance, incident response, and physical security controls
Experience supporting audits, reporting, and compliance activities, including documentation, testing, and validation of physical security controls
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimize operational efficiency through enhancements to workflows, procedures, and the effective use of technology

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of Security or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 3+ years of Security or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of Security or related work experience.
