Security Specialist – Hyve Solutions

Location: Olive Branch, MS

Hyve Solutions is seeking highly motivated and dependable Security Specialists to support and enhance security operations at our Olive Branch, MS facilities. This role is essential in safeguarding our people, property, and critical infrastructure within a high-volume manufacturing and data center environment.

As a Security Specialist, you will play a key role in executing security programs, maintaining operational readiness, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of site security. This position is ideal for proactive professionals with strong operational experience, sound judgment, and a commitment to accountability and excellence.

Position will provide coverage for either AM or PM shifts, ensuring continuous support of security operations across the facility. Candidates must be flexible and capable of working assigned shifts based on operational needs while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and security awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and execute physical security programs to protect company personnel, assets, and operations
• Monitor and maintain security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and access control platforms
• Enforce site access control procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine patrols, inspections, and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions
• Assist with incident response, investigations, and documentation of security-related events
• Collaborate with contract security personnel to ensure post orders and procedures are followed consistently
• Partner with internal departments (e.g., HR, Operations, EHS) on sensitive or high-priority matters
• Contribute to emergency preparedness and response efforts, including participation in crisis management activities
• Promote a strong security and safety culture through awareness and compliance initiatives
• Support site projects by reviewing security requirements and recommending appropriate protective measures

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant security experience, or
• 5+ years of professional experience in corporate, industrial, or contract security

Preferred Experience:

• Security background in manufacturing, logistics, or data center environments
• Experience working with or managing third-party security vendors
• Prior law enforcement, military, or intelligence experience is a plus
• Experience supporting crisis management or emergency response programs

Required Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring)
• Strong investigative and incident response capabilities
• Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance standards related to corporate security
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Sound judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
