Team Intro
The Global Physical Security team oversees the governance of security initiatives worldwide. We lead the design and implementation of global strategic objectives, standardise tools, processes and procedures, manage project documentation, and act as a key connector between verticals such as Security Operations, Strategy, Fire Safety, and others.

Responsibilities
We are seeking a Physical Security Investigations Manager to join our Physical Security team in Singapore. This role is suited to someone who is curious, adaptable, and confident operating in complex environments where facts may be incomplete and sound judgement is essential.

- Lead and support physical security investigations involving personnel, assets, vendors, and security incidents, including fact-finding, evidence gathering, interviews, case documentation, and reporting.
- Assess incidents and security concerns, identify risks, recommend appropriate actions, and escalate matters when required.
- Support incident response activities, including urgent or sensitive matters that require timely coordination, sound judgement, and discretion.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute physical security red team testing, security exercises, and control assessments across global locations.
- Partner with regional and global cross-functional teams, including Ethics Office, Legal, HR, Workplace, Facilities, IT, Risk Control, and business leadership, to evaluate and improve security controls and response capabilities.
- Develop and maintain investigation plans, testing scenarios, case records, after-action reports, corrective action plans, and lesson-learned documentation in accordance with the ByteDance Physical Security Investigation SOP.
- Identify patterns, vulnerabilities, and control gaps, and translate findings into practical improvements for the global physical security program.
