Pay Range: $29.57 - $34.04 per hour

Job Summary

The Security Operations role supports the administrative coordination of physical security services for employees, visitors, contractors, offices, and plant support areas. The role administers temporary and permanent badges, access permissions, visitor and contractor processes, security vendor services, guard documentation, security systems records, incident reporting, office safety coordination, and emergency preparedness support.

The position collaborates with General Administration, EHS, Human Resources, IT, Legal, Operations, and external providers while maintaining appropriate boundaries between administrative security responsibilities and plant safety ownership.

Essential Functions

  • Administer employee, temporary worker, contractor, vendor, and visitor access processes in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Create, issue, update, deactivate, audit, and account for badges, credentials, keys, and related access records.
  • Coordinate security guards, access-control vendors, alarm providers, CCTV service providers, and other security vendors.
  • Maintain visitor, contractor, badge, incident, training, invoice, and vendor documentation.
  • Support reception and security personnel with access questions, exceptions, and escalation procedures.
  • Monitor administrative security service requests and coordinate correction of system, badge, door, alarm, or vendor issues.
  • Document reported security incidents and route investigations or sensitive matters to authorized internal functions.
  • Support office safety, emergency preparedness, drills, notifications, and business continuity activities in coordination with EHS and site leadership.
  • Assist with security awareness communications, access expectations, and visitor or contractor procedures.
  • Support security readiness for facility startup, employee onboarding, special events, construction, and operational changes.
  • Review access records and service information for accuracy and identify control gaps or recurring issues.
  • Protect confidential security, access, personnel, and incident information.
  • Coordinate complex access issues, security vendors, system service needs, special events, construction access, and non-routine incidents.
  • Analyze access, incident, service, and audit information and recommend control or process improvements.
  • Train and guide lower-level associates and serve as an experienced resource for security administration.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of relevant experience in physical security administration, access control, badge systems, visitor management, guard services, security vendor coordination, incident documentation, or emergency preparedness support.
