Carolinas Rehabilitation – NorthEast is located on the campus of CHS Northeast (Atrium Health Cabarrus), a 457-bed hospital located in Concord, NC. Concord, NC offers a very affordable cost of living, and strong schools in both the public and private sector. The practice is located in the center of Concord and a quick drive to the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Carolinas Rehabilitation (CR) manages 192 acute rehabilitation beds and has established inpatient/outpatient programs in Oncology, Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Orthopedics and Amputee Rehabilitation, as well as an extensive network of outpatient MSK/Sports/Spine clinics as part of the Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute. Atrium Health’s network includes numerous acute and specialty care facilities within North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

• Schedule/shift this clinician will be required to work: M-F, on site at Carolinas Rehabilitation Northeast, Concord, NC – Days
• 1 APP, 2 Full Time physicians
• 8 weekends a year for call. No Nights.
• Hybrid role.80% inpatient, 20% ambulatory
• Open ICU, 2-3 admissions per shift
• Average patient load is 12

CR is comprised of four adult rehabilitation facilities all located in the Charlotte Metro area. Our Charlotte facility is located on the campus of Carolinas Medical Center, an academic medical center and the largest Atrium Health hospital. CR’s other three metro facilities are in surrounding communities a short distance from the Carolinas Medical Center campus.

CR has an exceptional opportunity for a Physiatrist that is BE/BC in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at our facility in Concord, NC. Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic about resident education and research. Both opportunities include

• Managing a complex inpatient population, consultative support at the nearby acute care facility, and outpatient clinic work

• Participation with our PMR Residency training program primarily located at our Charlotte facility, with opportunities for teaching and research

• Shared hospital call coverage

• Potential for leadership responsibilities
