Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant to join our devoted healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with a wide range of physical disabilities and impairments. Your role is vital in developing customized rehabilitation strategies that promote patient recovery, mobility, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed patient assessments to determine rehabilitation needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement rehabilitation programs utilizing physical, occupational, and other therapeutic modalities.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Provide patient and family education regarding rehabilitation goals, processes, and self-management techniques.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in physical medicine and rehabilitation and integrate evidence-based practices into patient care.
• Engage in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance rehabilitation services.
• Ensure precise and compliant documentation is maintained for all patients.

Requirements

• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is mandatory.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice.
• At least 5 years of clinical experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
