Job Description

SAR Academy, a Modern Orthodox, co-educational day school in Riverdale, NY is looking for a Physical Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
 
Responsibilities:
-Provide a range of instructional, management, and assessment strategies to meet the different needs of students in health, sports, and fitness.
-Create thoughtful and engaging unit and lesson plans daily with the PE/Movement team.
-Participate in creating innovative special activities Collaborate with colleagues across content areas and grade levels.
-Attend and actively participate in all meetings including CFG, department meetings, and PD sessions
-Ensure the safety of students at all times.
-Assist with non-instructional supervision of students, such as arrival/dismissal, substitute teaching, lunch duty, or supervision of extracurricular activities.
 
Education & Experience Requirements:
Degree in Physical Education, previous experience is preferred but not required.
