We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Physical Education teacher to join our start-up international school in Amaala, Saudi Arabia. This role involves teaching students aged 1–16, with a primary focus on Early Years and Primary education.
Please note: This position is open to female candidates only, in accordance with local cultural requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging PE lessons that prioritize psychomotor development for young learners through playful, age-appropriate activities.
Teach swimming classes and ensure student safety in the pool (lifeguard certification required by August).
Plan and run extracurricular sports activities aligned with your strengths and interests.
Adapt lessons for multigrade classes and small groups, creating personalized and inclusive learning experiences.
Collaborate with homeroom teachers to ensure coherence with the IB Primary Years Programme.
Requirements:
Female candidate (to teach female classes in upper school and mixed groups in lower years).
Degree in Physical Education or Early Childhood Education with a specialization in physical development.
Experience working with young children (Early Years focus).
Lifeguard qualification (or commitment to obtain before August).
Strong adaptability, creativity, and willingness to contribute to a growing school community.
Preferred:
Experience in running extracurricular sports programs.
