Job Description

Central Health Management, Inc. seeks a board-certified Physiatrist for a full-time opportunity in an inpatient setting in the greater York, Pennsylvania area. This role provides is a 1099 contracted role with a flexible schedule and expected income of $250,000 to $450,000 depending upon number of procedures. Medical Professional Liability Insurance is provided.

This role is responsible for completing new admissions within 24 hours during the week or within 48 hours if the patient is admitted on the weekend. This requires being readily available to complete new admissions within the expected time frame. On average, there will be 10 new admissions per week. The average patient stay is 14 days. Each patient is required to be seen by the Physiatrist a minimum of 3 times per week and on average care will be provided for 20 to 25 patients at any given time. Additional responsibilities include timely charting and billing, collaborating with other medical professionals on the treatment of each patient, and writing discharge plans for patients.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

  • MD/DO from an accredited Medical University.
  • Completed Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency.
  • Board Certified in PM&R.
  • Actively licensed in Pennsylvania to practice Medicine with no history of disciplinary actions.
  • Actively licensed with DEA prescriptive authority as required by Pennsylvania.
  • BLS/CPR or ACLS certified.
  • Collaborative and patient centric provider
