Position Title:

PHRN Trainee

Shift:

Responsible for serving in an interim basis as a nurse trainee in the USRN Clinical Academy while obtaining NCLEX certification and USRN license prior to being deployed to a USRN function.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Attend review and USRN Academy Program for purposes of preparing for the NCLEX. Undergo training.
• Pursue completeness and timely submission of NCLEX and Boards of Nursing Licensure Requirements while also abiding by and conforming to all applicable rules and regulations, directions, instructions and conditions related to training and Company Code of Conduct.
• Assists business operations production as appropriate. Provide insights, risks and recommended interventions on individual and class progress and to Clinical Consultant and Business Operations.
• Provide suggestions that may lead to interventions and additional curriculum to the program to enhance clinical acumen.
• Requires a BA/BS, current active unrestricted PHRN license to practice as a health professional within the scope of practice;
• 2 years relevant clinical experience (i.e. Medical Surgical in Tertiary care hospital, Critical Care); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Healthcare Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) experience specifically on Utilization Management and Population Health Management, HEDIS Abstraction, etc. preferred. Proficiency in English required. Relevant Healthcare certification preferred (i.e. Medical Coding, Nursing Specialty certifications).
