Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Integration Developer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PHP development and system integration, with a strong focus on creating seamless and efficient connections between different software applications. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance PHP-based integration solutions to connect various software applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and design appropriate solutions.
Implement APIs and web services to facilitate data exchange between systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring smooth and reliable system interactions.
Optimize integration processes for performance, scalability, and security.
Document integration processes, technical specifications, and system configurations.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in system integration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong focus on system integration.
Proficiency in PHP, including frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend.
Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs, as well as web services.
Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
