University Marketing within the Division of University Communication and Marketing (UCM) is responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans intended to help the university reach its strategic goals. University Marketing works in partnership with administrative and academic units across campus to promote the UMBC brand, attract students, and position the university among key stakeholders and constituents.

Responsibilities:
The Photographer will work closely with university communication and marketing members on various photography projects, including (but not limited to)
marketing and recruitment projects, campus events, performances, magazine photos, and storytelling and campus life images. The position will play a critical role in supporting upcoming high-profile departmental initiatives, including UMBC’s strategic plan, development campaign, and increased digital and social media opportunities.
In addition, the position will play an important part in the implementation and maintenance of a digital asset management system. Specific duties include coordinating shoots, performing hands-on photography work, edits and color corrections, delivering images promptly, communicating efficiently with clients, and performing other duties as assigned.

Salary:
Salary: $63,000 to $71,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
