As a Photo Retoucher at Nuovo, you will be responsible for efficiently editing and retouching high volumes of images while ensuring exceptional quality for every client. With Nuovo’s rapid expansion and the opening of new studio locations, we are seeking skilled, detail-oriented, and experienced retouchers with a strong focus on skin retouching to join our growing Retouching Team at our head office.

This role is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced, production-driven environment, maintains a strong commitment to visual consistency and brand standards, and takes pride in preparing polished, professional client imagery that enhances the overall studio experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform batch editing of guest photos to maintain consistency across large sets of images
  High-volume workflow is central to the role; consistency is critical across all client images.
• Retouch skin and remove blemishes while preserving a natural appearance
  Core to Nuovo’s brand, client experience, and the empowerment-focused visual style.
• Apply color correction and lighting adjustments for polished, high-quality results
  Foundational to ensuring images reflect Nuovo’s aesthetic before fine-detail retouching.
• Execute precise background removal to meet Nuovo’s visual standards
  Important for clean, professional final images and product-ready deliverables.
• Meet strict deadlines and time management awareness to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
  Directly tied to client delivery timelines, production flow, and studio operations.
• Proactively identify and resolve image-related issues, demonstrating strong initiative
  Valuable for quality control and team efficiency, but secondary to the core editing tasks.

Requirements

About You:

• Proficient with editing tools and digital systems – Photoshop and Lightroom Classic and Camera Raw is an asset
• Highly detail-oriented – Catches small imperfections, follows retouching notes accurately and ensures polished, high-quality images.
• Organized with strong workflow management – Handles high-volume editing efficiently without sacrificing quality.
• Results-driven with integrity – Delivers consistent, client-focused results aligned with Nuovo’s values.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment – Comfortable meeting daily targets and quick turnaround times
• Calm and professional under pressure – Maintains focus and positivity during busy production periods.
• Adaptable and quick to learn – Easily picks up new tools, processes, and retouching standards.
• Resilient and growth-oriented – Continuously improves skills, speed, and technique.
• Strong listening skills – Understands direction clearly and collaborates when needed.
• Builds positive rapport with the team – Contributes to an aligned, supportive, retouching environment.
• English fluency and proficiency; French is an asset
