Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time (80 hours bi-weekly)

  • Day Shift

  • Rotating Weekend and Holiday Commitment

  • No On Call Commitment

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Degree or GED (Required)

  • 1 - 2 years’ experience Technical (Required)

  • 3 - 4 years in Technical or Phlebotomy, or other (Preferred)

  • Other Phlebotomist Preferred

  • Other Formal phlebotomy training Required

Responsible for providing adult education in the disciplines of adult and pediatric phlebotomy and/or specimen processing. Knowledgeable and experienced with instructing adults in the fields of phlebotomy and processing. Conducts training sessions to ensure team members are skilled in both the technical and behavioral aspects required to perform blood draws and/or process specimens. Responsible for completing initial and annual competency assessments for team members under the direction of a lead and/or supervisor. Independently performs day to day tasks and collaborates with TriHealth team members as required to meet the needs of our healthcare providers. Serves as an internal liaison for the laboratory. Reports directly to Laboratory Support Supervisor.
