Job Description

The primary function of this position is to collect patient samples of blood, ensure proper labeling and chain of custody is followed. Deliver samples as appropriate to proper storage in a timely manner for processing. Collects chain of custody urine drug screens and other urine samples as required. Assists in other duties as needed. Assists in other duties as assigned. Position covers all MUSC Health locations and requires flexibility to be assigned to and rotate to all sites as needed. Reports to Practice Manager on day-to-day operations, communication is verbal or in emails. Communicates to providers and back-office staff regarding patient care.
