Hours:

• Shift: Full-Time Evenings
• 2:00 pm- 10:30pm; 8-hour shifts
• Rotating weekends and holidays required. Team rotates benches; -In patients, Outpatient, Specimen Processing and ERD.

About the job:

Primarily responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations of phlebotomy, specimen processing, laboratory office, and reference lab specimens. Duties include staffing and training of SPD and phlebotomy staff. Also responsible for all duties involved with the collection of blood specimens through venipunctures and skin punctures on all age groups, the collection of specimens other than blood in the outpatient department for urines, throats and nasal swabs, office duties, specimen processing and point of care waived and moderately complex testing. Performs all phlebotomy collection, specimen processing, point of care testing and laboratory office work in accordance with accreditation standards, department procedures and guidelines to support the delivery of patient care.

Required:

• Minimum Education: Required: Associates Degree Preferred: Bachelors Degree Specify Degree(s): Science or health-care related field
• Minimum Experience: Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience. Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
• Licensure/Certifications: Required:

Preferred: Certified Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP)

Compensation:

Pay Range: $22.07-$34.21 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
