Hourly Pay Range:

$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Phlebotomist II
• Location: Swedish Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 11am-7:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays

What you will do:

• Responsible for ordering tests into the Laboratory and Hospital (LIS/HIS) computer systems and documenting Lab receipt of specimens.
• Includes minor processing of various laboratory specimens.
• For inpatients, ensures the proper wristband has been applied prior to scanning with Soft ID handheld device.
• Collects blood samples for specific tests ensuring volume is adequate and correct tubes are utilized.

What you will need:

• Diploma or Vocational Degree Required Or
• High School Preferred
• Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferred.
• Outgoing compassionate personality.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated skills in phlebotomy, exceptional customer service skills as well as the ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• CPR BLS - American Heart Association (AHA) required and PBT(ASCP) Preferred
