This is a part-time contractual position. Responsibilities:You will be responsible for:Assisting the Principal Investigator and research team in carrying out assigned research activities.Performing venipuncture and blood collection from research participants in accordance with established protocols and safety procedures.Properly labeling, handling, processing, and transporting blood and other biological specimens according to study requirements.Ensuring appropriate collection, storage, and documentation of research samples.Assisting with the processing of blood samples, including separation of plasma, serum, or other biological components, as required.Maintaining accurate records of sample collection, participant information, and laboratory activities.Assisting with routine laboratory procedures and sample preparation under supervision.Ensuring compliance with laboratory biosafety, infection-control, and research protocols.
Requirements:You should have:Bachelor’s degree in Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, Allied Health Sciences, or an equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized or foreign university.Relevant training or practical experience in phlebotomy and venous blood collection.Working knowledge of laboratory techniques and biological specimen handling.Knowledge of basic laboratory safety and biosafety procedures.Good interpersonal and communication skills, particularly when interacting with research participants.Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow research protocols accurately.Comprehensive employment references will be conducted and only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
