The Primary Care Clinic at Sterling Regional MedCenter is staffed by physicians and nurse practitioners specializing in family medicine and internal medicine. You will join a team that is heavily immersed in the Sterling community and are passionate about providing the best care possible.
As a full time, Phlebotomist for the Primary Care Clinic at Sterling Regional, you will perform initial processing and preparation of samples for transport. Focus on quality by assuring that all work performed is accurate and complete. Complete documentation legibly and accurately per site protocol and follow established methods and practices to make Healthcare easier so that life can be better. Hours are Monday – Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM.

This position is responsible for the collection and receipt of biological specimens, proper entry into the computer system, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and/or distribution of these specimens to the proper analytical area. This includes responsibility for pre and post aspects of analytical testing. This position will also perform specified analytical testing as assigned. This position may perform duties associated with blood donor registration services.
CORE FUNCTIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge. A current license in state practiced as required by state law.
May be required to possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats.
Phlebotomy certification. Previous experience of at least six months in a clinical laboratory setting or completion of phlebotomy school.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
$16.65 - $24.97 / hour Banner Health is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted compensation range is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay Banner Health in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. This range is based on possible base salaries and does not include the value of our total rewards package. Actual pay determined at offer will be based on years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location, along with a review of current employees in similar roles to ensure pay equity is achieved and maintained.
