In this role, you'll be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens, ensuring accurate patient identification and specimen handling, and supporting laboratory operations that help drive high-quality patient care. You'll interact with patients of all ages, providing a positive and professional experience while helping ensure timely and accurate test results.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collect blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques
• Verify patient identification and ensure proper specimen labeling and handling
• Educate and assist patients with collection of urine, stool, and other specimens
• Transport and deliver specimens according to hospital and laboratory protocols
• Maintain laboratory supplies and assist with inventory management
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and PPE requirements
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, providers, and staff
• Perform waived testing as appropriate
• Support quality assurance and quality control processes
• Assist with orientation and mentoring of new team members
• Collaborate effectively with nursing, medical, clerical, and allied health staff
