Work Schedule:
Per diem role offering flexible shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
Collects clinical laboratory specimens and performs tasks associated with patient registration, order entry and specimen processing with general supervision. Performs waived testing with general supervision. Provides logistical support to team members and general assistance to customers.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 6 months to 2 years related experience and/or training preferred.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Bilingual and able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently may be required based on service location.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software.
Certificates and Licenses:
Must be accessible to appropriate and reliable transportation to perform essential duties and responsibilities.Certification required by the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support to include adult, child and infant.Certification will be provided if needed.
