Job Description:

SCOPE: As an integral contributor to the success and growth of Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Foundation this role provides essential support to the Philanthropy Operations Team. Working under the Director of Philanthropy Operations and alongside the Associate Directors of Philanthropy Operations, this role supports operational processes, including, but not limited to; donor gift processing, acknowledgments, and pledge reporting. Additionally, the Philanthropy Operations Coordinator supports data management and training activities for the donor database and operations systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Conducts all gift processing functions and procedures including timely entry of donations, review of gift documentation and issuance of gift receipts and acknowledgments according to IRS standards.
2. Supports Database and Prospect Management Administrator and data health by maintaining and updating donor/prospect information and inputting new donors/prospects and information into donor database. Supports research efforts for department and prospect management.
3. Provides administrative support for the Philanthropy Operations team including team and office communications, meetings and coordinates staff trainings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• One to three years of administrative, development operations, event coordination, or nonprofit support experience. CRM or database experience preferred.
