Position Type: Full TimeThe Philanthropy Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the fundraising and donor relations efforts of the Rose Hill Foundation. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives on providing exceptional customer service to donors and stakeholders. The position is responsible for providing administrative support, managing the donor database, handling gift processing and acknowledgments, and providing logistical support with donor relations, communications, and fundraising events.
Administrative & Team Support
- Provide general administrative support for the development team, including scheduling, correspondence, meeting minutes, and project tracking.
- Assist with donor mailings, stewardship communications, presentations, and other outreach initiatives.
- Provide outstanding customer service to donors through timely follow-up, accurate information.
Donor Database and Gift Processing
- Process all donations, pledges, and matching gifts.
- Generate timely, personalized donor acknowledgements and tax receipts.
- Manage, organize, and update relevant data in the donor database.
- Pull segmented mailing lists, queries, and reports to support campaigns and stewardship efforts.
Financial Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile monthly development reports and ensure donations are accurately coded to appropriate funds and programs.
- Track and code all Foundation expenses and invoices with attention to detail and financial accuracy.
- Maintain gift documentation and audit-ready records in accordance with Foundation policies.
Event Support and Logistics
- Assist with fundraising events, including scheduling and coordinating event logistics, registration, on-site event support, and event follow-up.

QualificationsEducation: Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Ability to meet certification in CPR and First Aid.

Experience: Minimum three years of experience. Experience working with databases. Prior fundraising experience a plus.

- Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to pace activities; anticipate and meet deadlines.
- Advanced ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively utilize a teamwork approach with residents, visitors, families, staff at all levels, Board member, donors, and other external entities.
- Ability to utilize various computer software programs and implement systems to track donors and donations.
- Ability to meet the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social needs of residents with varying degrees of mental illness or disability.
- Ability to support the therapeutic environment.
