
At the present time, an opening exists for an Operations Manager within the Brandywine Virtual Academy Division at the Chester County Intermediate Unit. As Operations Manager, you will support and help execute the day-to-day operational systems and support services that power student success within our partnership with Philadelphia Virtual Academy. Reporting to the Supervisor of Operations, this role combines hands-on coordination of technology platforms, student support services, and district partnership tasks to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for all stakeholders. You will supervise a team of support staff, and working closely with the Supervisor of Operations, you will help coordinate SIS/LMS platform tasks, support district partner relationships, and carry out continuous improvement activities. This role is well suited to a detail-oriented, collaborative leader who enjoys turning strategy into action someone who can manage people and processes, respond quickly to operational needs, and help ensure that plans set at the supervisory level are executed reliably and well.
This is NOT a remote role. This role is on-site in Philadelphia four days per week, and on-site at our Downingtown location one day a week.
This work in on-site in the PVA Philadelphia locations 4 days a week, and on-site at the CCIU in Downingtown 1 day a week. This is not a remote position.

Created in 1971 by the Pennsylvania General Assembly, the Chester County Intermediate Unit is a regional educational service agency that exists to provide quality, cost-effective services to the community and its residents. The Chester County Intermediate Unit administers instructional, enrichment and administrative programs and services to Chester County’s 12 public school districts, and to over 45 private and parochial schools in the county. These programs include instructional, remedial and enrichment services for regular and special education students and career and technical education programs for secondary and post-secondary students. The CCIU provides direct instruction to over 5,000 students a year and support services to an additional 30,000 students a year.
In addition, the IU supports teachers, school administrators, school directors and school districts through a multitude of services, including, but not limited to: business and administrative services, communications services, technology services and human resources.
