Your new area of responsibility – motivating and future-oriented:

• Develop cloud-based data architectures to support life-cycle assessment (LCA) and digital product passport concepts.
• Design methods for real-time sensor fusion and online data visualization to enable interactive monitoring and decision support.
• Create predictive models with advanced deep learning architectures (LSTMs, encoder-decoder networks, deep neural networks).
• Develop life-cycle-based simulation tools to generate synthetic datasets and enable early-stage experiments.
• Establish concepts for secure, role-based data access in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts from materials science, production, sustainability, and IT infrastructure.
• Regularly document and present research results.

Your qualifications – solid and appropriate:

• Ongoing or soon-to-be-completed degree in computer science, data processing, mechanical engineering, or related disciplines.
• Solid knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or similar) and data architecture.
• Strong skills in Python and deep learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or comparable).
• Understanding of data visualization and database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Knowledge of LCA (life-cycle assessment) and/or sustainability is an advantage.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Very good German language skills and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to collaborate with international teams.

Our offer:

The gross monthly salary according to the collective agreement for this position is at least EUR 3,888.53. Siemens, as a large corporation, also offers additional social benefits and perks.
