Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
As a Pharmacy Technician Tutor, you will be part of our team delivering the Pharmacy Technician programme. In this role, you will pass on the knowledge you have gained through your extensive pharmacy experience with an emphasis on community pharmacy and an understanding of the skill set required of a Pharmacy Technician.
Your knowledge base will also include anatomy and physiology, OTC, a range of dispensing techniques including calculations, compliance packaing and compounding, OTC, pharmacy legislation, and professionalism.
You will need to be a New Zealand Registered Pharmacist, or be an experienced Pharmacy Technician holding a NZ Certificate in Pharmacy Technician L5 or NZ Diploma in Pharmacy Technician (Specialist) L6. We are looking for someone with a passion for Pharmacy Education and educating future pharmacy technicians in this industry.
You don’t need any experience in teaching as we will provide you with comprehensive training and support you with teaching tools to become successful in your tutor role.
