The Pharmacy Technician will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This position does not have regularly scheduled hours and will cover shifts as needed to cover sick time, PTO and call outs.
About the Facility: Lake Charles Memorial Hospital is the only locally-owned, regional community healthcare system in Lake Charles. Lake Charles Memorial Health System consists of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, a 314-bed acute care facility at our main campus on Oak Park Boulevard; Lake Charles Memorial Hospital for Women, a 38-bed women's health services facility at Gauthier and Nelson Roads, Moss Memorial Health Clinic on Walters Road for populations in need of primary and specialty care, Archer Institute, our 42-bed behavioral health hospital on Nelson Road; the Memorial Medical Group, our affiliate physician group comprised of over 100 specialists and Memorial/LSUHSC Family Medicine Residency Program which trains primary care physicians.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certificblations, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicae.
