Location: Trillium Health Partners – Coverage across 4 Pharmacentres at 3 hospital sites

Position Type: Casual

Role Level: (AH 05.11) $31.37-36.16

Shift: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 9:30am-5:30pm, 10am-6pm Monday to Friday

About Our Pharmacentres

Our Pharmacentres are retail pharmacies located within THP’s hospital sites, providing convenient access to medications and health products for patients, families, and staff. Beyond retail services, our pharmacies are an integral part of the patient care journey, supporting transitions from hospital to home, ensuring medication safety, and promoting wellness in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support medication reconciliation and patient education initiatives.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Adapt to coverage needs across multiple Pharmacentres.

Qualifications

  • Education: Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program.
  • Certification: Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with Kroll or similar digital dispensary systems is an asset.
  • Flexibility to travel between Pharmacentres as required.
