The Pharmacy Technician – Inpatient supports daily pharmacy operations by working alongside pharmacists to ensure the safe, accurate, and timely preparation and distribution of medications throughout the hospital. Responsibilities include preparing, packaging, and delivering medications to patient care units, maintaining inventory, managing pharmacy records, and providing excellent customer service to caregivers across the organization. This role plays a vital part in supporting efficient inpatient pharmacy operations while helping ensure patients receive the medications they need safely and on time.
A caregiver in this position will work rotating first and second shifts, with start times ranging from 6:00am to 1:00pm and 8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00am and 9:30pm based on operational needs. Caregivers participate in an every-third-weekend rotation, provide occasional third-shift coverage for PTO, and are expected to work two holidays per year.
