Saint Luke's Health System is seeking a Licensed Oncology Pharmacy Technician.
Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist performs all accountabilities associated with compounding, preparing, distributing and charging of medications. Assist in the filling and delivery of medication orders, maintaining automated dispensing cabinet stock, and assist with various duties as assigned.
Pharmacy Technicians who have completed the required education and training may administer vaccines approved by the respective state licensing board. Missouri Pharmacy Technician License required, Kansas Pharmacy Tech License optional
SLN, SLE, or SLSPrimary location will be plaza but could have to work in other location including7:30am-4 pm with flex to stay late or come in early occasionally base on patient care needs.M-F 7a -3:30 pm or
• Pick, fill and deliver medication orders and Omnicell stock to appropriate locations
• Prepack drugs and compound medications including sterile products, chemotherapy, and special dosage forms (topicals, oral liquids, etc.)
• Assist with maintaining stock supplies in pharmacy department as needed
• Answer the phone/ front window, and assist with questions and requests
• Attend all department and technician meetings
• Certified vaccine pharmacy technicians may administer vaccines to patients under the supervision of a pharmacist
Pharmacy Technicians for Saint Luke’s Advanced Care Pharmacy may drive and deliver medications.
