We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician at MSK's Inpatientlocation.

  • Resourceful and make sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information
  • Prepare Compounded Sterile Products inside the USP 797 cleanroom
  • Follow USP 797 guidelines for IV preparations
  • Perform Inventory management (ordering, receiving, stocking)
  • Triage phone calls with courtesy and promptness and refer to a pharmacist when applicable
  • Maintain pharmacy files and records
  • Demonstrate proficiency with appropriate pharmacy equipment, systems, and technology
  • Assist with pharmacy inspections
  • Adhere to State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Complete annual competency assessments

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma/GED with 2+ years of clinic/hospital experience preferred
  • PTCB or NHA Technician Certification (CPhT) required
  • Current NY Technician License
  • IV compounding experience preferred

Additional Information:

  • 37.5 hours per week Sunday to Saturday
  • Hours vary: shift can start as early as 7:00 am to the latest 6:00 pm, every other weekend and some holidays.

Pay Range: $29.03 - $44.92FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
