As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist the pharmacist in various tasks including prescription preparation and customer interactions. Your contributions help ensure a seamless service experience for our customers, making a difference in their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities:
• Complete basic and advanced technician training modules to gain essential computer RX knowledge.
• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction with pharmacy services.
• Answer phone calls and address inquiries that don’t require pharmacist expertise
• Receive new prescriptions and process refill requests from prescribers.
• Gather and record necessary information to prepare prescriptions efficiently.
Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions by counting, pouring, and labeling medications.
Maintain a well-stocked pharmacy department by ordering and checking-in supplies.
• Prepare insurance claims and confirm payment processing.
• Help patients locate over-the-counter (OTC) medications.
• Complete housekeeping duties within the pharmacy environment.
• Make deliveries to clients and manage payment transactions when needed.
• Engage in staff development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid pharmacy technician license in good standing with the appropriate board of pharmacy or application submitted

Additional Qualifications:
• Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
• Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
• All training requirements must be fulfilled, including Relias training at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.
• Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.

Physical Requirements
• ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Sedentary work may involve sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing.
