Works under the supervision and direction of a Pharmacist filling routine medication orders and other related duties.
Registration:Must be registered with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician, and registration must be in good standing.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Certification/Experience: Previous experience as Pharmacy Technician preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Proficiency in basic math applications and analyses required and the ability to type. Completion of Pharmacy Technician training checklist.
