Job Description

At Revere Health, we believe there is a better path to healing and healthcare maintenance, and we’re working on this mission—one patient at a time. We’re a national leader in a movement called value-base care which aims to improve treatment outcomes and keep costs down. Our internal culture is one that promotes respect and consistently recognizes the impact that individual employees have on the mission of the organization.

Revere Health is the largest independent multi-specialty physician group in Utah. Since our founding in 1960 in Provo, we’ve grown to provide 29 medical specialties across more than 100 locations in Utah, Arizona, and Nevada. Our mission is to deliver high quality, coordinated, and innovative care with clear communication and exceptional patient experience. We are looking for a motivated, customer service oriented Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. In this role you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support accurate, safe, efficient, and cost-effective pharmaceutical services for our patients and providers.

Essential Job Functions: • Patient & Provider Support: Help healthcare providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone; answer questions and requests and refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist. • Inventory Management: Support pharmacy operations by checking pharmaceutical stock levels, anticipating needed medications/supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt of shipments, and removing outdated drugs. • Prescription Preparation: Organize medications for the pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing accurate labels, calculating quantities, and preparing other pharmaceutical therapies. • Compliance & Safety: Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations. • Infection Control: Protect patients and employees by strictly adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. • Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records by recording and filing physician orders and prescriptions. • Fiscal Responsibility: Generate revenue by accurately calculating, recording, and issuing charges. • Medication Delivery: Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and various departments as needed. • Administrative Support: Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing relevant information; contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed. • Clinical Tasks: Perform immunization administration for patients (note: this is a preferred skill and may not be a requirement in all cases).

Qualifications: • Licensure: Must hold a current, valid license to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of practice. • Regulatory Knowledge: Current knowledge of state and federal regulations and statutes regarding the practice of pharmacy, including the distribution of approved drugs, controlled substances, and investigational agents. • Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting or a high-volume customer service position is required. • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills are essential; previous experience in retail customer service is highly preferred. • Technical Skills: Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn pharmacy-specific software quickly. • Language: Spanish speaking preferred.

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30-6:30, Saturday 9:00-1:00
