The Pharmacy Technician – Inpatient role is based in Building C on the second floor at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital, located between the operating room and an ICU within a busy, 256-bed inpatient setting. This pharmacy supports a high-volume operation with a team of approximately 18 pharmacy technicians, 20 pharmacists, and on-site management, and caregivers interact closely with nurses, pharmacists, buyers, and fellow technicians throughout the day. The role offers a high level of autonomy while working in close collaboration with pharmacists and includes responsibilities such as medication picking, receiving and handling narcotics, triaging workflow needs, answering phones, managing re-dispenses, and responding to the pharmacy door. The team culture is hardworking, reliable, and patient-centered, with a shared focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and delivering safe, timely medication support to inpatient care teams.
A caregiver in this position works a 7-on, 7-off schedule, Tuesday through Friday from 11am-9:30pm and Saturday - Monday from 9am-9:30pm.
