Third Street Family Health Services is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our growing pharmacy team. What You'll Do

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will:

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy management system.
  • Maintain medication inventory, perform cycle counts, and monitor stock levels.
  • Process prescriptions and assist with insurance billing activities.
  • Package and label medications while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and patient safety.
  • Assist patients at the pharmacy counter and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct clinical questions to the pharmacist.
  • Maintain required regulatory documentation, including temperature logs and quality assurance records.
  • Ensure compliance with Ohio Board of Pharmacy regulations, HIPAA, and organizational policies.
  • Support a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative healthcare team focused on exceptional patient care.

Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
  • Ability to obtain Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 12 months of hire.

Preferred

  • Previous retail, outpatient, community, or ambulatory pharmacy experience.
  • Experience with pharmacy management software and insurance processing.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
