JOB TITLE Pharmacy Technician
EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: One (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Certification from a state-approved Pharmacy Tech program preferred.
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES This position assists the Pharmacist and licensed personnel in record keeping, inventory and other necessary items for the smooth operation of the Pharmacy department within scope of responsibility and training.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Effective communication skills; both orally and written. Computer skills needed. Ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Strong problem-solving skills.
