Under the general supervision of the pharmacy supervisor/pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician or Hospital Lab Technician II (HLT II) assists in all activities required for ensuring patient access to medications. Major duties include processing of prescriptions, preparation of medications, prior authorization, financial assistance, refill authorizations, medication preparation and patient outreach within applicable policies, procedures and regulations
