We are currently seeking several PGY-2 Resident Pharmacists to join our Pharmacy Resident team. These positions are full time with benefits, 80 hours per pay period, rotating day/evening/night shift with and every 3rd weekend, 8-hour shifts.
Purpose of this position: Under the direction of a preceptor or Pharmacy Services leadership the Pharmacy Resident performs a wide variety of clinical, operational, and technical duties for Pharmacy Services. The Resident will provide pharmacotherapy assessments and real-time interventions with the medical staff, provide in-services, mentor students and understand the operations of Pharmacy Services within HHS. Responsible for acting as an information resource to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug-related information and literature. Responsible for maintaining confidential reports, entering, and retrieving data utilizing the computer system, preparing medications, and ensuring quality and safe medication practices. Maintains standards set by the department and translates policies and procedures into the daily operation of the pharmacy. Plans and organizes work schedule of supportive personnel, as required.

Successful completion of an ASHP (American Society of Health System Pharmacists) Accredited PGY1 Residency Program
License/Certifications
Pharmacist license from the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of employment
