The Pharmacy Oncology Technician is responsible for IV compounding and inventory management in the oncology pharmacy. The position is responsible for maintaining and complying with USP 797 standards for sterile compounding and USP 800 standards for handling hazardous medications.

Essential Functions
Additional Requirements
Required:
Education - High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
Registration - Technician Registration - South Dakota Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire
Certification - Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) OR Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - National Healthcare Association (NHA)
Preferred:
Experience - 3+ years of Sterile Processing Experience
Physical Requirements:
Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
