Job Brief:

Responsible for overseeing the daily business operations of a pharmacy including dispensing prescription medication and advising clients .In addition to managing the pharmacy staff and the inventory and ensuring the safe storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances.

Major Accountabilities

• Responsible for the efficient operation of the Hospital Pharmacy. He/ She meets all legal, accreditation, and certification requirement
• He/ She is responsible for overseeing all medication management and use in the hospital.
• The manager establishes standards of quality, productivity, and performance in accordance with policies, procedures, codes, and standards of the hospital in addition to urging all staff to adhere to the Mission and Values of the hospital
• The pharmacy manager is responsible for ordering and stocking pharmacy supplies and maintaining inventory levels
• He/ She also resolve patients' complaints and answer questions for patients and all healthcare practitioners
• Ensure safe , appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies for patients according to established 1 policies and procedures.
• Contributes to the quality and effective operation of the department
• Integrates the department into the hospital's primary functions
• Collaborate with Quality Department, IP&C, Nursing, and other departments to achieve the department and hospital goals.
• To lead and manage the team efficiently & effectively
• To monitor and manage financial governance by ensuring financial compliance to regulatory, legislative, and internal processes and practices

Job Requirements

• Graduated from accredited college of pharmacy.
• A minimum of 8 years, of which 5 years must be in administrative position.
• Ten (10) years of pharmacy hospital experience or healthcare setting, including at least Five (5) years as supervisor or manager in hospital pharmacy.
• Holding a master's degree in any of pharmacy fields, MBA, Healthcare Management, Healthcare Quality, or Leadership.
• Must be Saudi Nationality
