Campus Health Pharmacy Cashier

Hourly Pay Rate: $10.00

Campus Health Pharmacy Cashier will support the department/organization in various administrative and operational tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.
  • Operate register and accurately process credit, debit, and insurance-related transactions.
  • Assist customers with prescription pickup while following pharmacy privacy and confidentiality policies.
  • Verify customer identification when required for prescription pickups.
  • Stock shelves and maintain inventory of over-the-counter products and front-end merchandise.
  • Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with routine non-clinical duties.
  • Follow all HIPAA, safety, and company policies regarding customer information and pharmacy operations.
  • Resolve basic customer questions and refer complex issues to pharmacists or supervisors.
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment while completing assigned tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University
  • Active enrollment as an Tulane EMS member
  • A Federal Work Study Award (potentially)
