Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant on a full-time temporary basis (term up to 24 months, may be extended or lead to permanent). Note: this role is known internally as a Pharmacy Administrator.
As a Pharmacy Assistant in our Central Fill operation, you'll work with advanced automation technology helping improve efficiency for local Co-op pharmacies. This is an exciting opportunity to build experience with industry-leading technology, allowing you to stay focused and productive in a streamlined, behind-the-scenes environment.
This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK.
What you’ll do:
Support fellow team members with medication preparation, packaging, and distribution while ensuring accuracy and order completeness.
Manage pharmacy inventory by ordering stock, maintaining optimal levels, identifying expired products, and reporting discrepancies.
Maintain clean, organized, and compliant workstations, inventory shelves, storage areas, and packaging systems.
Process shipments, fulfill orders, handle cash transactions accurately, and build strong relationships with local Co-ops to promote prescription services.
Who you’ll work with:
You will report to the Pharmacy Manager as part of a team of six. You will work closely with other Pharmacy Assistants and Staff Pharmacists to support local Co-ops across Saskatchewan. This team is passionate about their work and excited to welcome a new member to their group.
