As a Pharmacy Aid, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Receive drug orders from pharmaceutical companies and re-stock dispensary supplies (bottles, capsule vials, etc), ensuring appropriate storage of products
  • Check and restock shelves with medications
  • Recycle serviceable medication into active stock
  • Perform audits of unit dose prepacked medications and multidose packaged medications, rotating stock to ensure best dating
  • Help pharmacy technicians with performing audits in pharmacy and on patient care units
  • Help pharmacy porter and pharmacy technicians with medication deliveries
  • Support department administration with filing, scanning, shredding, etc.
  • Sanitize dispensary counter tops and trays

What we’re looking for:

  • Actively enrolled in Bachelor of Science program
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving, attention to detail and conflict management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively independently and with a team
  • Previous experience in a mental health facility is an asset but not required
