What You'll Do

• Lead daily pharmacy operations and oversee pharmacy staff
• Ensure compliance with California Board of Pharmacy, DEA, FDA, HIPAA, USP <797>/<800>, and other regulatory requirements
• Maintain quality assurance and continuous performance improvement programs
• Oversee inventory controls, medication safety, and pharmacy procedures
• Mentor pharmacists and pharmacy technicians through coaching and training
• Collaborate with leadership to improve workflow efficiency and operational performance
• Serve as a resource for clinical, regulatory, and operational questions
• Support inspections, audits, accreditation activities, and pharmacy compliance initiatives
• Foster a positive culture focused on patient care, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Ideal Background

• Active California Pharmacist license
• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
• 5+ years of pharmacist experience
• Previous Pharmacist in Charge or pharmacy leadership experience preferred
• Long-term care pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Experience with USP <797> and USP <800> standards
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, accreditation, and quality assurance
• Experience supervising pharmacy teams
