Pharmacist in Charge | Full Time | Tully LiveLife Pharmacy

Take full clinical and operational leadership as the Pharmacist in Charge of a well-established regional community pharmacy in beautiful North Queensland.

This is an opportunity for an experienced pharmacist who is ready to lead a small team, and make a meaningful impact within a close-knit community.

Roster

Full Time – 46.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
Closed Sundays

About the role

As Pharmacist in Charge, you will take responsibility for the daily leadership, clinical operations, and performance of Tully LiveLife Pharmacy, supported by a Retail Manager that looks after Rostering, Staffing and General Management of the store.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage daily pharmacy operations and workflow in conjunction with the Retail Manager
• Provide high-quality clinical care and patient-focused services
• Dispense using the FRED dispensing system
• Deliver clinical services including vaccinations, medicinal cannabis, Opioid Substitution Program (OAT), and Dose Administration Aids (DAAs)
• Support and develop pharmacy team members
• Build strong relationships with local prescribers and healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and pharmacy procedures

The pharmacy services approximately 200–250 scripts per day and provides a broad range of community healthcare services.

What we're looking for

This role would suit an experienced Pharmacist in Charge or a confident pharmacist looking to step into a leadership position.

You will have:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD qualification
• Current AHPRA General Registration
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a registered pharmacist
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient care focus
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and support a pharmacy team
• Experience with FRED dispensing software (advantageous)
