Primary Responsibilities
Serves at the Pharmacist-In-Charge of the Wilkes-Barre Mail Order Pharmacy and the Central Fill HCSM Pharmacy
Holds all applicable licenses required by state pharmacy regulations
Implements quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and compliance in medication dispensing.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards by staying updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary updates to operational processes.
Engages with BOPs and DEA / Regulatory agencies upon request and in collaboration with legal and professional practice
Evaluates and implements pharmacy management systems, automated dispensing systems, robotics, and other technological solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Oversees pharmacy inventory management processes, including medication procurement, stock rotation, expiration date monitoring, and inventory control.
Monitors expenses, controls costs, and identifies opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality and patient care.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
Seven years of prior relevant experience
Advanced knowledge of problem solving and decision-making skills.
Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines; flexible and adaptable.
Ability to deal tactfully with customers and the community.
Advanced communication skills used to lead a team.
Advanced execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills.
Ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate option.
Ability to function in clinical setting with diverse cultural dynamics of clinical staff and patients.
Mastery knowledge of phases of care transitions and resources available for patients.
Mastery of digital literacy skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information ethically and responsibly.
Registered Pharmacist (RPh) required.
Holds all applicable licenses required by state pharmacy regulations

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$123,250.00 - $208,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
