Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and customer-focused Arabic Speaking Pharmacist with a valid DHA, DOH, or MOH License/Eligibility to join a leading pharmacy, hospital, or healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing pharmaceutical care and counseling, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering exceptional customer service in both Arabic and English
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with physician prescriptions and UAE regulations.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, contraindications, drug interactions, and allergies.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, storage, and adherence.
- Provide pharmaceutical advice and recommend over-the-counter (OTC) medications when appropriate.
- Monitor patient medication therapy and collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records, inventory, and controlled drug documentation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medications in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage pharmacy stock levels, expiry dates, and procurement processes.
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and medication safety.
- Maintain compliance with DHA, DOH, MOH, and UAE healthcare regulations.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognized institution.
- Valid DHA, DOH, or MOH License/Eligibility is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital, retail pharmacy, or healthcare setting.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and UAE pharmaceutical regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
