C-Care is currently looking for an IP Pharmacist to be based at C-Care Darne

Pharmacist

Reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager, the selected candidate will work in compliance with Pharmacy Act and Dangerous Drugs Act as well as internal procedures and policies and deliver the best to all customers.

What you will be doing:

• Manage the full inpatient dispensation cycle from the prescription collection, associate check and analysis and dispense while respecting dosage and strict quantities to be administered
• Be responsible for all drug-related quality control i.e. check of prescriptions, regular audit on drugs dispensed against prescription, root cause investigations when deviations are identified
• Coordinate regularly and to be informed of availability of drugs and communicate accordingly to Doctors, especially in case of shortages to collect their alternative
• Be responsible for preparing the chemo protocol and bring it to the Oncology unit for administration, after having reviewed and reconciled prescription and drugs to be administered
• Record prescriptions as per legislative requirements
• Supervise and control the ordering, storage, dispensing, handling and packaging of medicines to ensure safety, efficacy and quality thereof
• Supervise and guide Pharmacist technicians

Relevant Work Profile?

• Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Knowledge and dosage of Pharmaceutical products
• Minimum 1 year of experience in related field
• Good communication skills
