Part-Time Pharmacist – Gordonvale Discount Drug Store

🌙 Shifts: Primarily closing shifts, with flexible leave coverage as needed

Gordonvale Discount Drug Store is seeking a friendly, reliable Part-Time Pharmacist to join our supportive community pharmacy team. This role is ideal for a pharmacist looking for consistent part-time hours with flexibility to assist during staff leave periods.

About the Role

As a Pharmacist at Gordonvale Discount Drug Store, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and professional pharmacy services. You’ll be responsible for safe and accurate dispensing, providing medication advice, and supporting both customers and team members in a busy community pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and in accordance with professional standards
• Provide advice on medication use, drug interactions, and potential side effects
• Ensure patients receive the correct medication and dosage
• Manage inventory and maintain accurate records
• Deliver excellent customer service and patient-focused care
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes
• Stay up to date with new medications and developments in the pharmaceutical industry
• Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians and other staff

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
• Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
• Strong knowledge of medications and their clinical use
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well within a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced community pharmacy setting
